google-oauth demo returns "Input does not meet minimum length requirement of 12 characters"

Hi,

I'm playing around with the google-oauth demo code. I believe I followed all the steps correctly, but when I press on the "signup with google button" I get the google popup and select my account, and then get a red message
Input does not meet minimum length requirement of 12 characters
after the popup disappears. 
Any thought on what can I verify? I'm not entirely sure what this message refers to.
