Filtering data

Hello,
I have a table with 2 text fields and 1 image field.
What i want is to filter the data according to users age or some other criteria.
For example i want the user to choose his age from a dropdown menu and see results according to his choice.
I use appgyver as frontend. As you can tell i am pretty new to this and any help would be much appreciated.
