Datasource in different branch

Hi all,

We have setup different branch for development purpose now. The question is new branch still using the live database. So how we can change the datasource for different branches. So test data would not affact live datasource.

We have few functions which we directly run at xano through xano platform, so there are no apis for some requirements.


Please let me know.

Hi ,

Data sources are selected in the admin panel when working within xano or though headers/arguments when using the API. The documentation here goes into detail on how to do that.

Hi  , if i will change data source here will it affact live api data storing. I meant will live api still use the live data.[Xano (6).png]

By default the api is always using the live data source. You have to use the header or url argument to change it via the API.
