Hi there,
my app only sends a few transactional user emails, e.g., forgotten password.
Could I connect to my own SMTP server from Xano?
Or, alternatively, is there a service which connects to your own SMTP service via an REST API?
Thank you and best regards

Oooh that sounds like a job for a lambda function! I would use nodemailer within the lambda to manage the SMTP communications and potentially sign the email you're sending.

we have to whitelist each library at the moment. This sounds like a good one. Do you have any other recommendations?

Nodemailer now supported - https://docs.xano.com/working-with-data/lambdas-javascript/libraries-and-functions#nodemailer

Thank you both for your responses. I am coming to no-code from business processes. So JavaScript is not something I am familiar with. But with the new integration and Micheal's explainer video it looks easy enough. I will give it a shot...
