Functions in the stack are being deleted out of nowhere

Sometimes, when editing a new function that I've added (query, precondition, etc.), an existing item in the stack will erase itself. This happens usually when I am saving the new item that I just added. The only way for me to get it back is by going into my editing history and reverting it.
