Bubble JavaScript to skip routing API calls through bubble

I was watching one of the bubble videos y'all had and you mentioned some javascript that could be used to not route through Bubble for API calls.

In the context of the video this was to achieve HIPAA compliance. The video mentioned posting that JS in the document y'all had post video call but i did not see it.

If this is possible please post an example.

Do you think this would also speed API calls?

Hi @trevor fields - the code example is posted in the description, where it says custom code. Here it is: (Custom Code: https://gitlab.com/-/snippets/2385784)

So using Javascript will allow you to call Xano directly, whereas when you use the Bubble API Connector Bubble will proxy the call. So yes, it should help performance on Bubble's side. We also recently launched a Beta SDK, if you're interested let me know and I can get that over to you.

So I had a look at the video but IIRC it only shows how to post into Xano. I would like to GET info from Xano. How do I do that?

So my app has 10 different repeating groups that are populated by 10 field types in Xano. The user must select 1 or more options from each repeating group and narrow the search to just 1 or 2 products.

(I've tried to use Bubble's own db but it is too slow, so I'm hoping Xano will be faster)
