Do previous published versions of function stay active within function stacks where it's used?

I just had a quick question about the new publishing ability. If I don't publish a function does the previous published version of the function stay active within any function stacks where it is used?

    That's correct. When using Run & Debug, you are given the option to either run the drafts of custom functions or the live version. When the function is executed via an external API call, the published version is what will run.
