Is there a plan to move record ids in the databases from ascending numeric to uuid?
Hi All,
Was wondering from the perspective of security is there a roadmap to implement uuids?
I don't mean as a function as I am aware that there is such a capability in Xano(https://docs.xano.com/working-with-data/functions/security#uuid), but rather as a default for the database.
Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Hi @tm - there are no plans for this at this time. However, I've seen this feature request on our board. I'd recommend voting for it as we take highly requested items into consideration for features (https://xano.nolt.io/top)

It's pretty straightforward to implement uuids as fields and then reference them in your endpoints - hiding the sequence in the primary key. I find this to be a best practice for publically accessible URLs because it blocks enumeration by attackers.

@Michael Udinski has this been abandoned then?

It is still something we'd like to support based on community feedback @gbdoin
