What is wrong with my json input because it doesn't filter the products?

I am using an external filter, however, I can't seem to get it to filter correctly. I did the sort and that works and also works through my front end but the filter doesn't seem to work. I want the price to be between the two values. I come from a non technical background so don't really understand what I'm looking at but I've tried nearly everything.

Have you tried using custom query for filtering? I think it should do the work for you and it will be easier to setup

Would I be able to use a custom query because the filter value is dynamic as it is a user input and not a fixed value?

You can absolutely do that. You can use input values in custom queries conditions, even modify them there.

@Pawel Magdanski I can't seem to use the eval value for the custom queries. The reason I'm having to use the evals is because one product will have multiple prices but I just want to select the cheapest one out of the list for the filtering.

Edit: I think I have a workaround and will test
