Quickbooks says Xano endpoint URL not valid

I am trying to set up Quickbooks Online OAuth flow, and when I try to add my webhook to Quickbooks to receive the token they send back, they are saying the Xano endpoint URL is invalid (b/c of the colon). Any quick way around this issue?

If you have tested the API endpoint to ensure it's running correctly using the Run & Debug tool within Xano or a tool like Postman, and everything is running as expected, the URL is valid. Other Quickbook users have experienced issues because of the ":" in the endpoint URL. I recommend contacting the support team at Quickbooks to see if they can make an adjustment.

Hi @lizanaya, thanks for the response. Yep the URL is valid from Xano's perspective and webhook is configured, but QBO won't let me configure it as it currently is (with the ":") in their developer portal. Is it possible to customize this link from the Xano side, or anything like that? Would be super helpful!

Hoping to have better luck getting Xano to help me out here than Intuit :)

Hi @amos and @MillerB! Our engineering team has added some additional functionality due in the next release that will allow for replacing the : in the API URLs with a -. This will hopefully resolve the issue with using these URLs in QuickBooks. We'll update this thread again once this has been rolled out — should be early next week.

Thank you @Chris Coleman and @jakespirek! Will I see this as an endpoint URL with a "-" instead of a ":" now, or should I just edit my endpoint URL (in the quickbooks dashboard) to include a "i" instead of a ":" and it will work as expected? I'm still seeing the old format when I copy the endpoint URL from Xano.

@amos You'll still get the original format copying from Xano. Just manually replace the : with a -.
