Aggregating by month - to_timestamp not available as filter

Hi,

I am trying to return aggregated result by month from a date field (not timestamp). My understanding is that in order to get the formatting I need to convert the date to a timestamp. However in the aggregation the "to_timestamp" is not available. How do I accomplish this?

Hi, what is the data type of your tansactions.date?

Apart from that, generally in tables I always have my dates in timestamp format as a default, because it's the easiest type to manipulate with if necessary.

The format of the timestamp is Date. I am early in my project so it seems that it must be best to convert them to a timestamp. Seems a bit strange that the filter is not available in that situation though if it is available with Update Variable.

For now I have a path forward, I will just change all dates to timestamp.
