Use a web link to return the page's main image and metadata like title and description

You know how in facebook or on your phone when texting when you put a link in it transforms it to a photo and title? I'd like to do the same thing on the Xano backend and then put it in the database to then display to the frontend. Anyone done this? Is there an API or javascript to do this? Thank you!

If you want to do it directly fro Xano, you have to first get the site html, trying a basic request through axios (lambda functions) which is included in the Xano's paid plans. After obtaining the site html, parse through it using to grab the site’s meta tag elements (such as title, description, image, favicon, sitename, etc.)
But I guess it's much easier to use one of many APIs that do this for you like…
