Can someone explain me how to use this Get record "lock" feature?

Hi,

Can someone please explain how are we supposed to use this "lock" feature?

If a function in an endpoint was going to edit a record but it was locked, how can I set a retry system that keeps trying until it finds the record unlocked, then it locks it again while it edits the record and unlocks it when finishes editing the record? This must be done without using background tasks.

I have not found any Xano documentation on this "lock", if you have, please share it.

Lock will lock the Get Record if other APIs are in the process of performing an action in the same database.

Pd: the "lock" field is not exposed in the "edit record" function. Does that mean that we have to use the function "get record" after editing the record in order to lock it again?
