How to create a simple data validation list

Hi there,

I am new to Xano and WeWeb and do not have technical experience, so apologies if this qualifies as a dummies question.

I have a xano table with a list of names. I want the user to be able to choose one of those names by viewing and selecting the list from a drop down box - similar to data validation list in excel.

Could anyone point me to relevant docuemtnation or videos that explains how to set this up?

Hi @Paul McG - this would just be returning the list with a Query All Records from that table - the generate GET all CRUD endpoint will likely suffice for this use-case.

As @Michael Udinski mentioned, having a GET request listing all the names from your table inside a WeWeb collection, and then binding it to a dropdown element in WeWeb would do the trick.
