PUT Conditionals

When using PUT, is there a way to specify that if a value is not changed then the original value will be kept. At the moment, when a value is not changed, it is set to null.

Amazing, and would you recommend utilizing this method versus using PATCH? or would PATCH be better suited for partially editing a row?

I use this exact method pretty frequently, but if you wanted to change the method/verb to PATCH there's no harm in doing so.
