 it will probably be mid sept.

If something is very sensitive, you can always clone it and work on the new version and then when that is ready to go live, you update your frontend to reference the new endpoint.

 is this staging feature coming soon?  If not, what is the best approach?  When you mean clone, do you mean cloning the instance?
